After thinking some it is most likely Matt will have the voice be a totally new, to us, character. Since he also likes old, obscure, early heroines it is likely to be someone like Nelvana of the Northern Lights. She has a Wiki:

In the “I want to talk to my boyfriend” frame I wonder what the “misdirection chorus” is getting wrong since leading us to the wrong (but reasonable) conclusion is one of their jobs.
As for Spectre with his level of awkward I can see him having no idea he had made suck an impression or even believing he could HAVE a girlfriend. And if, as I suspect, HEL is his boss rather than a love interest this could get embarrassing and also raise some questions about his last expense account…
NO MISDIRECTION AT ALL! Also: Money on: That camera just actualized- and then DIED! There’s a frigging UNBOUND AI floating around in Hel’s realm taking in the fight!!!
Eventually, the camera will return to Earth like VYGER in Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

Expanding: Author Matt folded a city’s backstory into his greatest villain’s weakness, displayed the twist for (I’m gonna go with) most of the comic, offered a big prize to anyone who could guess the twist, and managed to keep everyone guessing until the hammer dropped! It’s like being able to get into the mind of Zelazny or Alliston.
